Class A Design

Class A amplifiers amplify over the whole of the input cycle such that the output signal is an exact scaled-up replica of the input with no clipping. Class A amplifiers are the usual means of implementing small-signal amplifiers. They are not very efficient — a theoretical maximum of 50% is obtainable, but for small signals, this waste of power is still extremely small, and can be easily tolerated.

JungSon JA-88D Review by Australian Hi Fi Magazine

“Bargain Buy of the 21st Century” is what the reviewer stated on the September 2006 Issue of the Australian Hi-Fi Magazine.

“The JungSon JA-88D Can do it all and does so with a fine touch, so that you get valve-like attack, but not the valve sustain, coupled with solid-state’s effortlessly instantaneous power delivery”

Warning to JungSon Buyers from JungSon Manufacturer

Recently we found several discount online websites.

These websites are selling JungSon products that are designed and should only be sold in mainland China to overseas customers. These products may not match the local voltage / safety requirements of foreign countries. They were sold without English or other foreign language manuals causing enormous difficulties for overseas users. Worst of all, some of the websites selling second-hand, repaired units, and models are often of dubious origin. We would like to declare that JungSon never authorised any discount online websites or auction sites offering our products to overseas customers.

JungSon’s Impression CD Player

JungSon, the prestige Chinese hi-fi manufacturer, released its first top-loading CD player – the Impression- at the 2006 Las Vegas CES on January. Crowds of the golden-eared reviewers were attracted to the JungSon booth by this CD player’s astonishing look and extremely beautiful sound.

The design of Impression followed the artistic principle in Chinese traditional architecture – “spherical sky and cuboidal earth”. The chassis is made of high-graded stainless steel and aluminium alloy to increase its capacity of anti-vibrations and anti-interference. It also accommodates circuit boards and power suppliers. The semi-spherical cover works as a disk stabilizer and contains control buttons and function display. This incredible CD player is equipped with a Phillips upmost CD-PROP2M transport and utilising no less than twenty Burr-Brown top-ranged chips, including PCM1704k, OPA627, DF1706 and PPA2604 for the D/A or I/V converting and wave filtering. Like all JungSon hi-end products, The Impression has a substantial weight of 37 kg.
